Embroidery kit and embroidery PDF pattern
This pattern is available as a kit and as a PDF pattern you can just download immediately to your computer and transfer the pattern to fabric, of course in that case you will have to buy the materials for the project separately. But the embroidery kit comes with everything you need to get started! Like embroidery hoop, embroidery needle, embroidery threads, instructions and a reusable kit bag.
In the kit and PDF pattern you will also receive stitch guide for the pattern which will show you how to embroider each element and what stitch to use. And also a basic stitches beginners guide with illustrated images to help you get started.
This design is also available for custom orders, click here to order this floral design with a different text or saying.
How to embroider text
I like to start with the text and here I used just back stitch in small stitches. Back stitch is the easiest stitch for letters embroidery, and I have a hole video just about it! watch it first.
How to embroider the wreath
I started with a couple of small back stitches and then added lazy daisy petals on each side. If you never hard of a lazy daisy stitch it is a kind of a chain stitch used to make quick flowers. If you never hard of chain stitch either I recommend that you will watch this video.
How to embroider special rose and leaf
You can stitch almost every shape with only back stitch and satin stitch, but if you want your embroidery art to stand out and have more texture you need to try this. First the rose, I used a technique that it more connected to weaving than to embroidery 🙂 you create a wheel (or a sun, or pizza) of an uneven number of lines and then weave between them, watch this video for a step by step tutorial. With the leaves I also used a technique that involve some kind of weaving. I create a centered line and then I add more stitches above it in a Criss Cross method. Just like you saw in the first video tutorial above.
How to fill a flower shape with satin stitch
Like I said before satin stitch is very common in embroidery. But still it can look a lot more interesting if you use it well. Like trying different angles or embroider from different sides each time. For the flower in this design I used sections to help me create a even distribution of the thread. Look for this video to first understand the basics of satin stitch.
How to embroider French knot
I love this cute little knot! It adds so much spark and joy to the design. it is not the easiest stitch but after a couple of tries you will also become a master of French knots! This is an slow and easy video tutorial for a perfect first French knot.
