How To Transfer PDF Embroidery Pattern To Fabric Using Home Printer
Today I am going to show you how to transfer any pattern to fabric using pen, some tape and your home printer machine. It is super easy and you can do it at home. The PDF embroidery pattern is great for anyone who already have the materials for embroidery at home such as thread, needle, hoop and fabric, and just look for a nice design to stitch. If you don’t have those things at home you can try one of my embroidery kits, just order one here.
What is embroidery PDF pattern
First let me explain what a PDF pattern is. A PDF is a file you download to your computer and then you can read it just like a word file and print pages as you like. When you download my pdf patterns you will have 7 pages, the first pages will explain you how to use the file, what you will need to complete the embroidery project and embroidery tutorials. The last page is the design, you can print only this one to save paper (and the earth!).
How to transfer
After you print the pattern attach it to clear window, I would recommend doing it in day light. Than attach your fabric over the patter page. In the video I’m using washi tape because it attach better to the fabric. You will need a fabric that you can slightly see through, like light-heavy cotton and linen. Use a pencil or a pen to trace the design. Know that even if you are tracing the design with a pencil you can’t erase any marks! So pay attention and do it slowly.
